Everything's bigger in Texas. So when Chevrolet asked us to show up for the State Fair of Texas, "a simple booth" was never going to cut it.

Our canvas? A parking lot outside a historic building on the fairgrounds. Our timeline? Just over a month. Our assignment? Build something that felt like it had always belonged there — equal parts Lone Star soul and Chevrolet swagger.

So that's exactly what we did.

assembly and Czarnowski transformed that slab of asphalt into a full-on experience, complete with reclaimed barn wood, corrugated metal, stone, and southern climate plants that made the space feel less "brand activation" and more "Texas, obviously." We poured actual concrete slab footings for the more substantive components, because when you're going big, you go structural.

Outside, guests were treated to a 50' wide LED screen under the tent, a misting station (because Texas in October is not playing around), and the Texas Tailgate Toss game. The crown jewel? A TruckPort built to look like a finished stable — housing four vehicles while doubling as shade. Functional. Photogenic. Very on-brand for a truck company.

Inside, the full Chevrolet portfolio was on display in a more traditional auto show format — plus a Texas-exclusive moment: the Silverado Strong photo opp. Because if you're only doing it in one state, make it the one with the biggest personality.

Now, about that weather. Texas during State Fair season is meteorologically chaotic at best. High winds, heavy rain, and "wait, is that a wall of humidity?" energy can show up unannounced. So we engineered our Anova Vista structure with an integrated gutter system, a fully engineered slab, and the collective weight of 25+ years of international I&D experience to back it up. The result: a stunning, dynamic open-air structure that handled every curveball the sky threw at it — keeping guests comfortable, dry, and completely unbothered for the entire month-long run.
