Monterey Car Week gathers some of the world's most discerning automotive enthusiasts and luxury consumers in one place, with every leading brand in town competing for their attention. Standing out takes more than an impressive vehicle display. For Lexus, the opportunity was to reimagine the Ultimate Clubhouse as a destination that embodied the brand's approach to luxury, one that brought craftsmanship, hospitality, design and culture together while giving guests meaningful ways to discover the latest Lexus vehicles and get behind the wheel.

Built for staying awhile.

The strategy was to make Lexus a place guests wanted to spend time. Overlooking Pebble Beach's iconic Third Fairway, the reimagined Ultimate Clubhouse brought indoor and outdoor lounges, a striking vehicle lineup, refreshments and personalized hospitality together within one cohesive destination. Programming gave guests more reasons to explore and stay. From live art and craftsmanship to music and time behind the wheel, every touchpoint brought a different dimension of Lexus luxury to life.

The art of the drive.

Artist Alex Alpert turned the hood of a Lexus IS into a one-of-a-kind canvas, illustrating it live throughout the weekend. Inspired by Pebble Beach landmarks like 17-Mile Drive, his signature stream-of-consciousness artwork gave the vehicle a distinctly local character before extending onto a custom Malbon golf bag.

Craft in every corner.

The creative experiences continued throughout the Clubhouse. Fumar Cigars rolled cigars by hand on site, while Mark Levinson powered DJ performances that brought the brand's premium audio experience to life. Refreshments and the indoor and outdoor lounges gave guests even more reasons to settle in.

Of course, the vehicles were never far from the action. A striking Lexus lineup gave guests plenty to explore, and the Ride & Drive experience invited them to take the next step, moving from discovering the vehicles in the Clubhouse to experiencing them firsthand on the road.

Where attention is the ultimate luxury, Lexus stood out.

At Monterey Car Week, attention has to be earned. The Ultimate Clubhouse earned plenty of it. Some 4,000 guests came through and stayed an average of 67 minutes, and 95.6% left with a more favorable impression of Lexus and greater desire for the brand. The impact carried well beyond the Third Fairway, too, with 204M in potential media reach. And at least one guest took their enthusiasm all the way to the dealership: "I just bought an IS 350 because of my experiences here."
