A mascot sounds like a simple ask. A great mascot is anything but.
Toyota Racing came to Infusion with a genuinely fun creative challenge: develop a new character that could serve as the collective persona for the entire Toyota Racing community. Not just a logo treatment or a one-off illustration. A fully realized character with real range, real personality, and enough versatility to show up across digital platforms, physical activations, promotional materials, merchandise, and whatever else Toyota's team dreams up down the road.
Working in close collaboration with Czarnowski on look, feel, and overall design direction, the Infusion team developed the Toyota Racer entirely within the 3D space. That decision was deliberate and it paid off. Building the character in 3D from the very beginning meant every asset in the library was future-proof: photorealistic renders for high-end promotional use, fully rigged animated assets ready for motion and video, and a character built to scale across formats and applications without losing any of its charm or visual integrity.
The result is a character that's equal parts adorable and adaptable. Racing-inspired enough to feel authentically Toyota, approachable enough to connect with fans way beyond the paddock. Whether it's headlining a digital campaign, animating across a screen at a live race event, or showing up on merchandise that people actually want to wear, the Toyota Racer is built and ready.
And honestly? For a mascot designed to represent one of the most storied names in motorsport, it's pretty irresistibly cute. We're not mad about it.
